Instant Konjac Noodles Customer Reviews
These are an excellent choice if you enjoy glass noodles. These Konjac noodles closely resemble glass noodles in texture and they only require 2 minutes to cook. Very convenient and they have a delicious taste, with no unpleasant smell or flavor. I wish they were a bit cheaper, but for 25 calories for something that would normally be over 200, I can't complain. The Miso flavor is very palatable even for the most picky eaters.

I love konjac noodles and have been using them for years in place of vermicelli and bean thread noodles. They are low carb, low calorie, and gluten free. If you've never had them before, they are not like your standard wheat noodle which is an entirely different type of noodle. This "instant" noodle in a cup is much easier to prep than standard konjac which needs to be soaked in lemon juice and baking soda to soften. These soften with boiling water to the perfect consistency. If you're not backpacking (these are kind of heavy), they are very convenient to take camping if you are gluten free. There's a lot of wheat based noodles that are portable, but so very few choices if you're gluten free like I am. These taste great, but there is a very high sodium content in each serving. We are talking 870mg of sodium. I personally don't consume the leftover liquid because of this. If you need to watch your sodium consumption for whatever health reason, be aware that this is definitely not a low sodium food. Otherwise, I think these taste great.

I love eating konjac noodles. I've never had them in an "instant noodle" type cup so I was looking very much forward to trying this out. These days most brands are making them scentless which really helps to eat the konjac. It typically has an earthy fish smell but they are ideal for replacing the typical carbs we love eating like rice and noodles. This is a DIET food and it's going to taste like nothing, like diet food. If you've never had these types of noodles made from konjac, you will either like it or not. But if you're on a diet, on paleo, on keto, then this is something to consider having as a meal if you're craving noodles or rice.
